iGaming launches new suite of player wellbeing courses

iGaming Academy, in partnership with 87%, has today launched a new suite of player protection micro-modules aimed at promoting and ensuring player wellbeing.

Complementing their existing Responsible Gambling Plug-in training, these modules focus on three key themes of player protection: problem gambling awareness, communicating with problem gamblers and players at risk, and suicide awareness in player protection. Each theme is made up of a number of bite-sized micro-modules that target different subject areas. Each module takes around 10-15 minutes to complete, making them easy for learners to digest.

Learners are taught how to recognise the difference between problem gambling and safer gambling, how to communicate with players with empathy and patience, and how to recognise potential signs of suicidal thoughts in players. The training will give learners an understanding of how difficult conversations with their customers may impact their own wellbeing. Learners will be provided with self-care skills and tools to prevent long-term negative impacts.

Alongside our Employee Wellbeing Platform and Mental Fitness App, 87% specialise in delivering Education and eLearning on employee wellbeing and mental health, helping to promote happier, healthier, and more productive workplaces. We are firm believers that giving your employees the skills and knowledge to manage their own mental fitness is the easiest, quickest and most cost effective way to improve wellbeing across any organisation.

We are proud to announce that our bespoke eLearning courses on player protection in the Gaming industry are now available through iGaming Academy’s dedicated Learning Management System.
