'Life Happens' with Ben Bidwell

'Life Happens' is the podcast that helps you build mental fitness, speaking to inspirational people about life’s ups and downs, how they’ve overcome setbacks and what it means to them to be mentally fit.

From struggling to express his creativity and find his purpose in his 20s, Ben Bidwell has made a name for himself as one of the most prominent names on the mental health scene. A mindset coach, a powerful public speaker, a writer and an active campaigner for the need to change the stigma about mental health, Ben is championing the idea that we don’t need to constantly conform to society’s pressures.

We are wired to find connection and to fit in; to be part of a tribe. But by stepping back and surrendering - allowing yourself to ‘flow’ rather than always having to work everything out - we can learn to give ourselves space, accept that sometimes things go wrong and enjoy a lighter way of being.

In this episode of ‘Life Happens’, James Gwinnett talks to Ben about his mental health journey, how baring all (literally) helped him express himself, how masculinity can allow for toughness and softness, and simply letting go. It is a powerful episode that will encourage you to think about your ‘flow’ and how you can better connect with yourself and learn who you truly are.

We hope you enjoy the episode. If you do, please subscribe to our YouTube channel and share it with your friends as this will help us in our mission to improve the mental fitness of society percent by percent.
